FIFTH EDITION – PREMIO FARNESINA. AWARDS FOR ITALIAN RESEARCHERS AND “STARTUPPERS” ABROAD. DEADLINE 9 JANUARY 2022.

On the occasion of the next Conference of Scientific Attachés to be held in Rome next spring, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation announces the fifth edition of the PREMIO Farnesina – awards for successful Italian researchers and startuppers in Belgium. It will be possible to participate according to the following procedures:

A. Premio Farnesina for Scientific Cooperation dedicated to Italian researchers abroad (deadline: January 9, 2022)
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) has established the “Italian Bilateral Scientific Cooperation Award” to recognize an Italian scientist/researcher who has contributed to the progress of science and technology, carrying out his research in Belgium, thus improving the Italy’s S&T relations with Belgium and International Organizations.
All fields of science and technology are included in this award. The award consists of a medal and a diploma from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and will be awarded at the next edition of the 2022 Conference of Scientific Attachés in the presence of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

B. “INNOVATION THAT SPEAKS ITALIAN” Award for Italian StartUps abroad (deadline: January 9, 2022)
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Directorate General for the Promotion of the Country System, and PNI Cube, Italian Association of University Incubators and local academic Business Plan Competitions, announce the second edition of the “Innovation that speaks Italian” Award , in recognition of the high innovative value of Technological Startups operating abroad and founded by Italian citizens.
The invitation to submit applications is aimed at founding members of Startups operating in Belgium.
The award, which will consist of a medal and a diploma from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, will be awarded to the winning Startup at the next edition of the 2022 Conference of Scientific Attachés in the presence of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
