The relationship between Italy and Belgium is characterized by a strong bilateral and multilateral cooperation, with particular concern about the topics related to the European Union. The two countries share historical, economical, cultural and political bonds, reflected by common interest and cooperation at the level of the Atlantic Alliance, the United Nation and during the major international crisis. The presence in Belgium of almost 300'000 Italian citizens significantly strenghtens these ties. The relations between Italy and Belgium are well developed in the economic sphere while our culture, both classical and modern, is extremely appreciated in Belgium.
